Biography

Chirag is a first attempt Chartered Accountant with over 23 years of rich experience. He did his graduation in Commerce from V.G. Vaze College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Kelkar College) in Mumbai. He has also qualified for online self-proficiency test for Independent Director’s Databank.

Chirag is the Founder of Chirag Varaiya & Co. ("CVCO"), Chartered Accountants. He leads a team of 50+ professionals, helping multiple clients spread across different industries. At CVCO, apart from conventional services in the field of taxation, auditing and consulting, Chirag’s areas of services also include strategy, business planning and helping turnaround businesses. Over a period, Chirag has built a huge professional network and a wonderful CVCO Family. Chirag works with great commitment and zero pendency. He is an extremely organized professional following strict time schedules and remains high on time commitment.

Chirag is “go-getter” to the core and deep dives into things to churn results. He has been President / Vice-President / Treasurer multiple times at the business group, "BNI", and has followed the policy of “giver’s gain” in real terms during his tenure of 13 years at BNI. He has won dozens of trophies and medals for star performance at multiple levels in BNI. In the past, he has also been the Chairman at his residential society, and helps his religious trust at his native place as a part of its core committee.

Chirag believes in living his life with perfect work-life balance, and is joyous at all times. He is a great bonder, motivator and a people’s person. For his wife – he is a great husband; for his mother, he is the favourite son; he is a proud father to his 2 children and a great captain to his office team. Chirag loves to socialize, help and add value wherever he can. He is extremely passionate about working at Lusso with Yogesh and Surojit, and wants to take Lusso to new heights.

Chirag is an ardent follower of meditation and loves everything created by nature. He is a self-traveller who has seen almost whole of India, and also travelled to many foreign countries. His vision is to see the entire world by 2030. He loves trekking and is an enthusiast for small and mid-size trekking.

Chirag looks after finance, taxation, compliances, administration, HR and also supports Lusso in factory operations and production.
